Sunday Update and Game Plan
Friday's follow up visit at MUSC and team meeting with surgeons presented another hurdle for Team Operation Burning Daylight. Excess fluid resulted in a quick surgery to insert another drain. Although this play presented a bit of trickery for the team, we are at home now and recuperating. Please keep Kevin in your prayers as this new "rib rod" as Suba has called it is giving him quite a fit. Friday is the next checkup, but check back for mid week update.

Kevin, Rowland says "Show me your guns!" He is flexing for you. We know you have the strength to conquer. Thanks for sharing your sweets...baby number two really appreciates it!!! We love you so much!!!

Per Mandy's blog, Rowland wants to "see your guns" which inspired me to pull out my family's "big guns"...my Mom (yes, alas, a Yankee from New York...sorry!) calls to check in on your family's progress daily. She knows how close Matt & KB are. She seems to have a direct line heavenward and has a boatload of people praying and cheering you on! She has assured me that all will be fine. You can take that to the bank! After all of our stories about rainbows, she's convinced that our miracle is here in you. My Mom (Mama in Southern talk) doesn't lie and never would.
So, please know that all will be okay. I'm sorry you're going through this tough time. You, Becky and KB remain an incredible inspiration to all of us. Hang in there! You WILL conquer! YOU ARE THE BLANCHARDS!

Keep up the great work! I'm guessing hurdles are a part of this healing process as the doctors mentioned them from day one. I'm sorry that you had to cross another, but sounds as though you are showing just how strong and determined you are! Keep up the strength. Our prayers will continue to be for your strength and now for some much needed comfort. Thanks for sharing with us so that we can pray for your specific needs. Much love to you and your family.
