Tuesday

Formerly, the 25 most exciting seconds were when my Clemson Tigers ran down the hill into Death Valley. Now, the 25 most exciting seconds were when doctors heard Kevin's liver rumbling and bumbling this morning. This is a great sign that his liver is getting back to normal.

Kevin was in a great mood this morning before his minor stent surgery. He had two stents put in and is resting fine now. All went well and although he is super tired, Kevin is doing great. Today was a good day! He has unbelievable positive stamina. Becky feels good that today was so positive and is looking forward to a quiet evening at the hospital with her main man. Her other main man, KB got through a tough History test (thanks Sam!) and aced the vocab test (we hope...that was my subject!)

No news on when the Blanchards will be back at home base in Hobcaw, but hopefully Kevin will keep clearing these hurdles and be home soon.

Kevin,
Hopefully the stints will alleviate the pain you have been suffering through... Glad to hear you continue to heal and that your liver is 'rumbling'... or maybe that is just gas and you don't want to be embarrassed! :-)

Look forward to seeing you when you feel up to it. Get your needed rest!

Great day today! Clear eyes & smiling faces. Yea, with this cold weather, know you hope to be sitting by the fire soon.
When we cut those dead trees at the Lakehouse, we'll bring back to Mt. Pl so you can have plenty.
BTW-when you get the video cam ready for Julie's "surprise", I need that recording back of my rendition of "Over the Rainbow". How many times am I going to have to ask? It's my version, my performance and I want it in MY possession!
Anyway, we'll see you soon.
Love, S
PS - We won't need that garden hose after all!

We're just so thrilled with today's news and that hurdle #2 has been cleared! Keep on rumbling, get plenty of rest and know that we'll all continue the prayer vigil until you're through the race and back home together!

Dear Little Blanchards, Sure hope this morning finds Daddy Kevin feeling a little bit stronger than yesterday. Can't believe how strong you all are and how much you are keeping the rest of us strong.

Congratulations on doing well with your tests, KB. Keep up the good work. You may not realize how much help that is to Mother and Daddy Kevin, but it is. You always make us proud of you.

I love you all. Julie, Bret, Bruce, Muggs and Molly

Hey Blanchards!

How is our fan favorite family today? We hope that Kevin is resting comfortably and getting stronger day by day in preparation for the next hurdle jump! We're assuming those hurdles have been set up across a football field and that we're in the midst of a powerful drive with the endzone in sight! Kevin, continue to huddle up with the doctors, Becky and our main QB, KB and get ready to score! We KNOW it is all within your reach!

All of the cheering fans supporting you in the game continue to pray with a deafening roar!

Love,

Anne, George, Matt & Marc

PS: I can't get a job as a sportswriter either!
